Good Afternoon -

Friday will be the deadline for Champs RSVP.

For those that are unaware (I am learning too) Champs is a 3-day end-of-season event including all teams from the Mid Valley Swim league.  It is being held Friday 7/30 (evening) Saturday and Sunday (daytime) 7/31-8/1.

Friday evening is the prelims and the finals for IM only.  Saturday is the free relay (each is a final) and then prelims for breast and Freestyle.  The top 16 swimmers will then swim in the finals later Saturday afternoon.  These races are then followed by the awards for the day.  On Sunday it is the Medley Relay, fly and back in the same way as Saturday.  

Each team will need to bring volunteers to cover a lane for timing as well as 2 stroke judges and volunteers to rotate in a place pickers and stagers as well as other volunteers.  

So far these are the families that have given me a YES for attending CHAMPS this year.
